Angelina Marie Johnson. Gryffindor. Seventh year. Quidditch captain. African. And proud of it. Muggleborn. Also proud of it. So don’t go pulling that crap on me about inferior blood and expect me to react, unless it’s in a way I can tell you that you definite don’t want me to. In case you’re completely blind, I come already immune to discrimination. Well, I try to be immune to it. But it is, you know, well certainly not surprising, but disappointing that in this already small group of people they still manage to find someone different to dump crap on and blame us for all of their little society’s problems. Perhaps – oh, I don’t know but let’s see – the fuckwits going around saying they’re better than us due to an accident of birth are the ones responsible for all of their little society’s problems, if anyone is? Wake the bloody hell up. What you idiots don’t realize is that if you get us Muggleborns where you want us, you’ll just find someone else to hate and make a scapegoat. When you put it like that, we may as well just all cut to the chase and kill each other or – here’s a thought! – try getting on for a change? If not, it’s no skin off my nose. So yes, go use up all your little “mudblood” cracks on a Hufflepuff someone who will actually react to them. I ran out of the “shocked” emotion very early on in life.

As I got encouraged to place my name in the Goblet of Fire last year and am very glad it didn’t get drawn. Doubt I would have won but fuck me, poor Cedric and got pulled to pick up where Oliver Wood left off with the Quidditch team (and we’re going to win again this year, but keep on trying, because it will be all the more impressive when we beat you), you can assume I’m reasonably well-liked within my house. I already have all the friends I want and I’m not looking to make new ones, but if you’re from another house and don’t seem like a total twat, we can still chat. To the Slytherins, don’t bother. I can’t see what I’d possibly have in common with you.
